LSCP Annual Report 2024-2025
The Lambeth Safeguarding Children Partnership (LSCP) brings together health, education, children’s social care, the police and the voluntary sector to keep children safe. Our 2024–2025 report shows partners working together earlier and more effectively to protect children, support families and reduce risk outside the home.
Key highlights:
- Strengthened support for Children Looked After (CLA) and complex needs; new Health IGVA service at the Gaia Centre; reinforced primary care safeguarding leadership.
- In schools, stronger DSL leadership and an updated Model Safeguarding Policy (Aug 2024), Operation Encompass and Harmful Sexual Behaviour toolkit; SEND‑focused inclusion projects and improved attendance analytics.
- Daily joint work at the front door and a 24/7 Local Missing Hub for faster, more consistent responses to missing children.
- Growing our impact: 1,938 people trained; seven new specialist courses. Next year focuses on improved attendance, measuring impact, tackling neglect and risk outside the home, and school attendance.
